About Me:
Like many therapists, I didn’t just wake up one day and decide, "Hey, I think I’ll help people process trauma for a living!" Nope. I got here the hard way—by surviving my own. By 19, I had already racked up enough trauma for a lifetime: childhood abuse, betrayal, loss, a near-fatal car accident, and some religious baggage for good measure. My 20s? A highlight reel of bad decisions, toxic relationships, and trying to outrun my pain. Spoiler: it didn’t work.
Eventually, I stopped running and found myself in a therapist’s office—skeptical, exhausted, and pretty sure nothing could actually help. But it did. Bit by bit, I untangled the mess, rewired old patterns, and learned that healing wasn’t just possible—it was real. Therapy didn’t erase the past, but it gave me the tools to finally move forward.
Determined to help others find the same freedom, I pursued a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from Walden University, interned at Hope Clinic for Women, and worked with Veterans healing from PTSD through equine therapy. I specialized in treating eating disorders and trained in trauma-focused approaches like BrainSpotting, Trauma-Informed CBT, Somatic Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. Witnessing the power of equine-assisted therapy, I earned certifications in EAGALA and Natural Lifemanship.
Now, I'm honored to walk alongside others as they heal, grow, and create lives that actually feel good.
