CBT helps break negative thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties, while Somatic Therapy focuses on the connection between your body and emotions, releasing stored tension and trauma. Brainspotting, a powerful therapeutic tool, targets unresolved trauma by identifying specific eye positions that correlate with emotional pain. This helps release trauma that is often trapped in the body and nervous system, promoting healing on a neurological level.
